Manga Summary
Hotaru is at a park managing her Bitcoin earnings from a casino roulette game using a mobile wallet.
Jojaku happens to pass by and notices her.
Aware that Hotaru has been on a winning streak, Jojaku suspects she’s holding her winnings in Bitcoin and slyly asks, “What’s that? Bitcoin?”
Hotaru replies that she’s looking at Bitcoin.
Realizing from the short exchange that Jojaku knows nothing about Bitcoin, Hotaru teases him with, “Want to buy one Bitcoin for $100?”
Jojaku, who knows that one Bitcoin is worth $104,000, assumes Hotaru is clueless and has no idea of its real value.
Hotaru then pulls a replica Bitcoin coin—which she bought for $1—out of her pocket and hands it to Jojaku.
Jojaku, thinking he’s just gotten a real Bitcoin for an absurdly low price, is astonished and overjoyed, exclaiming, “So this is the famous Bitcoin!”
Hotaru, having successfully tricked Jojaku, walks away $100 richer.
Meanwhile, Jojaku remains utterly thrilled, completely unaware that he’s celebrating with a worthless replica, still believing it’s a $104,000 Bitcoin.
