Roulette Table Layouts

Hotaru

What’s up, Otaku Bettors!

When it comes to types of roulette, you’ve got your Europeans and Americans — but even within those categories, the same American Roulette with 0 and 00 can have completely different table layouts (table designs) depending on the machine or venue. For real.

Sure, the basic rules vary by roulette type — but when you actually sit down to place your chips and you’re hit with “What is this layout?” or “Wait — what happens if I put chips here??”, that’s a problem. So here at Otaku Bettors, I figured I’d dig into that one too.

So this time, I’ve put together every table layout (design) I currently know about.
Super niche topic, I know.
I wonder who’s even reading this.

European Roulette

European Roulette

The standard table at European casinos — the European Roulette table layout.

French Roulette

French Roulette

Another table you’ll commonly see at European casinos — the French Roulette table layout.

American Roulette

American Roulette

The table casinos designed to boost their house edge at the player’s expense — the American Roulette table layout.

American Roulette (Red/Black + Green)

American Roulette (Red/Black + Green)

Also an American Roulette table, but with a green section added alongside red and black — placing your chips there lets you target the 0 and 00 Split (18× payout).

Mexican Roulette

Mexican Roulette

The table layout for Triple Zero (000) roulette — increasingly popular across Asian markets too.
Like the special American Roulette table shown above, there’s a green section between red and black.
The payout is 12×, and you can target the green area (0, 00, and 000).

Mexican Roulette (000 Replaced with Casino Logo)

Mexican Roulette (000 replaced with casino logo)

This might actually be the more common layout for Triple Zero roulette tables.
Instead of the number 000, the casino’s logo occupies that slot.
Of course, placing your chips there still lets you target 000 with a Straight Up bet (36× payout).

That’s all for now,
that’s the rundown.

If I come across any other unusual table layouts, I’ll add them here!
